These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of this website and the purchase of products from The Alphabet Gift Shop Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.

1. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are offering to purchase a product at the price stated.

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email confirms that we have received your order but does not constitute acceptance of your order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:

  • An item is unavailable or discontinued
  • Personalised content is deemed offensive, inappropriate, or unlawful

If we cancel your order after payment has been taken, a full refund will be issued.

2. Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering.

We accept major debit and credit cards and other secure payment methods offered at checkout through Shopify’s payment providers.

All transactions are securely processed. We do not store or have access to your full card details.

3. Product Availability

We aim to keep our website accurate and up to date. However, stock availability cannot always be guaranteed.

If a product becomes unavailable after you have placed your order, we will contact you to offer:

  • A revised delivery timeframe
  • An alternative product
  • A full refund

4. Order Cancellations

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel most online orders within 14 days of receiving your goods.

To cancel an order, please contact us in writing via email.

Exceptions

You do not have the right to cancel:

  • Personalised or custom-made items
  • Perishable goods

Because personalised items are made specifically to your requirements, please check spelling, dates and details carefully before completing your order. We cannot amend or refund personalised items once production has begun.

5. Delivery

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary during busy periods or due to courier delays.

Risk in the goods passes to you once they are delivered to the address provided.

6. Returns

In summary:

  • Non-personalised items may be returned within 14 days of receipt
  • Items must be unused and in original condition
  • Personalised items are non-returnable unless faulty
  • Faulty or incorrect goods will be replaced or refunded

8. Limitation of Liability
